Addicted to playing Instagram? Here's How To Limit It

In the present, social media has now become part of the lifestyle of most people. There is no day without opening a social media account for someone. It feels like something is missing if you don't open social media for just one day, for example Instagram.

The same is the case with the tools to open it, namely smartphones. Social media can also make someone addicted, all day long using social media. There are those who use it for business purposes as well as those who use it only for entertainment.

Of course it's a good thing to use social media for business. But if it's just for entertainment to see people's updates throughout the day, it is certainly not a good thing, which causes users to become addicted, wasteful of internet packages and unproductive, just consumptive.

Therefore, this time I want to share tips for those of you who feel addicted to social media, namely tips or ways so that you can limit yourself in using Instagram social media.

How to Limit Yourself Playing on Instagram

Indeed, social media has many positives. However, of course, every user must limit himself so as not to become addicted to it which only wastes time. Even though you can use this free time for more productive things.

Instagram itself already provides features for its users so they don't overdo it in social media. Here's how:

  • First, open your Instagram account, then select the Profile tab menu .
  • Then, select the 3 line menu in the upper right corner. Then select your Activity menu and select the Time menu .
  • After that, select Set Daily Reminder , and set the amount of time for how long you want to use Instagram. For example, 2 hours per day.
  • Then select the button Set Reminder , Done.

That way, you will get a reminder notification if your usage has reached 2 hours on that day. With a reminder notification like that, hopefully you can be even wiser in using Instagram social media.

So, those are tips or ways to limit yourself to using Instagram for too long. Hopefully this is useful. Thank you (:
